Write about a recent time when a stranger did something nice for you.
Some of us think of strangers as always people to be feared while others see strangers as friends whom they just haven't met yet. When you think about it, most people have good intentions. When someone sees another person in need, they often step in to help out.

New experiences help keep life fresh and interesting. Our brains release neurotransmitters, chemicals in the brain, responsible for feelings such as satisfaction, excitement, and happiness when we experience novel situations. These new experiences help us grow and learn and remind us that life has so much to offer us if we are willing to venture outside of our comfort zone of the familiar.
What was something you did for the first time recently? What is something new you hope to try? Why haven't you done it yet? "It is when I struggle that I strengthen. It is when challenged to my core that I learn the depth of who I am."
- Steve Maraboli Everyone must endure difficult times. They are a part of the human experience. Sometimes we feel we may not survive. It is these experiences that allow us to appreciate and recognize the positive times. We are able to learn and grow through our struggles.
Use your journal to describe an experience that was painful but made you a stronger person. Share your strength here with us. It is during the little things in day to day life that we can find more joy than we previously imagined. We often overlook all that our lives have to offer us.
Describe a small, everyday thing that you enjoy with a special person in your life. We all have things we hope to experience and accomplish.
What is your top goal? Why is this goal important to you? What are the next steps to achieving this goal? Every season has its perks. What is your season now in your part of the world?
What do you love most about the current season? “Once you have traveled, the voyage never ends, but is played out over and over again in the quietest chambers. The mind can never break off from the journey.”
– Pat Conroy Where was your last vacation? Describe what you did there.
For some, vacation does not involve much travel. For others, vacation means an adventure to foreign lands. Thinking about whatever vacation means to you, even if it is just having time off from work or school, how did you spend that time? What did you enjoy? What did you see? Who was with you? Would you want to experience something like this again? Does it inspire you to try something else? What were your favorite parts? Share something with us from your vacation below. |
